Benjamin Blaess unconscious obsession & interest for typography never stopped growing, especially when he studied graphic design while in Alsace. He kept pushing his curiosity and thirst for knowledge and finally moved to Paris, to be a part of the first TypeParis session in summer 2015 during which he designed Brambly. Since 2015, he is specialized in font production at Typofonderie and leads typographic projects at ZeCraft. For TypeParis he is the art director for identity and communication of the annuals events as well type design programme.
The 3-week type design course starts on 5 April and ends 24 April 2027.
After 10 years in Paris, we reinvent our type design programme. We go from 6 weeks to 3 weeks, while maintaining the fundamentals that make TypeParis’ reputation.
The course will take place in Menorca, Spain for the first time. In 2027, we offer two levels, Foundation and Expert, which allows you to discover type design, or to gain expertise after an initial training.
